International Players from *** or KBO, if six years of service in those leagues, are eligible just as well.

I'm new to this version. So does this mean players not on the 40-man roster can play ST without going onto the 40-man roster?

And they can be sent bak down before opening day and remain off the 40-man with no option used and no ML contract imposed?

It works great - one of the best features added in the past few years. That and being able to set the length of spring training.

At the end of spring training are the non-40-man roster players assigned back to the minor league roster they came from if the aren't put on the 40-man roster?

Well, in my experience, you have to do this manually, on Opening Day.
