scouting 101
When a scout's job is set to Amateur and Pro, what does this mean? What kind of teams is that scout looking at?
For example: Is a scout set for Quebec (amateur) scouting the junior leagues? Is the Amateur setting for drafting purposes? Is a scout set for Quebec (Pro) scouting the professional leagues? Is the Pro setting for looking at teams the NHL is playing against and scouting the AHL for trading purposes? I'm asking because I just ran two seasons where my scouts are all scouting on the Amateur setting and I have no information about the players being drafted. |

Scouting is about to have a major overhaul, so any answers you get here will be good for about 3 weeks or so when the next patch is released.
I haven't played around with the scouting too much. |
