BIG Baseball League looking for 2 GMs
Things are going well for us over in the BIG League, we've just expanded. Right now we have a 16 teams, two leagues with two divisions of 4 teams each. We have quite the solid base of GMs but we've unfortunately had someone step down due to family reasons. The Yankees are currently available.
A little bit about us: We're a fictional league starting in 1980, currently late in the '84 season. We're using stats/finances appropriate for the time. We're a democratic league - major decisions are made by a poll/vote of the GMs. We sim 4 times a week, 7 days a sim on Tu/Th/Sa/Su We use OOTP:OU (Online Utilities) for the draft and export tracking Coaches are turned off, scouts are turned on, but all scouts have extremely high abilities (and scouting is set at high accuracy) If you're interested, you can check us out: http://danielwheeler.org for the league page BIG Baseball League - Home for our forum page Feel free to send me a message here, or on our forums, or at daniel.wheeler@gmail.com Last edited by Zarberg; 02-18-2013 at 11:24 AM. |

Now looking for ONE new GM!
Had someone step down for health reasons, and we're looking for a GM for the NY Yankees. Not gonna sugar-coat it, that team is decimated, it's a real re-building project. If you're interested, contact me with the info above!

I have some bad news and some good news on the Red Sox on the BIG Baseball League:
The Bad News: Our Red Sox GM is MIA. There's been no export from him for weeks and e-mails to his account go unanswered. The Good News: The Red Sox, a playoff team, are available for a GM to take over. That's right, a playoff team ... and we're in the playoffs right now If you're interested in taking over a playoff team with a solid pitching staff and a really interesting array of hitters, check them out here and send me an e-mail |

I'll second the post that this is a great league. Just finished my second year with the league.

Awww, thanks guys ...
And after those wonderful plugs, I'll point out that the Seattle Mariners now have a need for a new GM. The previous GM was quite good, that team has made the playoffs the last few years and the minor league system is decently stocked, but he hasn't replied to e-mails in weeks and it's been a long while since his last export. If you're interested in a mid-80's, democratic, fictional league with scouting on but highly accurate, contact me here or via my e-mail address: daniel (dot) wheeler (at) gmail.com |
