Euro Baseball Association
It's 1st January 2019, and the Euro Baseball Association (EUBA) is born!
A two-level association of leagues, the EUBA features... 1) Euro Baseball, the Premier competition, for 32 teams across 8 divisions, with only one conference! Playoffs will feature 1-8 seeding for divisional winners. A level-10 league, playing 108 regular season games, and an end-season All-Star game. The lowest team by winning % each season will be Relegated to the lower tier! 2) Continental Baseball, the second-tier competition, for 16 teams across 4 divisions and 2 conferences. Playoffs will feature division winners in each conference playing to get to the championship series - and Promotion to Euro Baseball! A level-7 league, playing 108 regular season games, and an end-season All-Star game. This league's teams have roughly 50% revenue power of the top-league teams. Each country only has one team across both leagues, which leads to some interesting locations playing baseball. I've tried to pick names which have something to do with the history or location of each city, and team colours are those of the nation it plays in. Finally, i'm planning to try an Autumn Knockout Cup competition - every team from the association playing in a 1-game shootout over a fortnight or so! Hopefully can get that to work Anyway, the EUB Inaugural Draft is coming soon, so for now, here are the teams! (also thanks for reading, heh )

Rooting for the Chocolatiers.
I have a franchise in my solo replay with the same nickname. It was fun coming up with the logo and uniforms. Good luck with the project.

Thanks! One of my long-term aims is to gradually bring in custom logos and uniforms across the leagues

The Euro Baseball Association (EUBA) celebrates its first month of play today! Fans across Europe have been cheering on their teams across both tiers of the Association, and there have been surprises along the way!
Most controversially, the Commissioner's Office did not anticipate the amount of quality ballplayers that would be attracted by the 2nd-tier Continental Baseball's (COB) Inaugural Draft - combined with the smaller league size (16 teams compared to 32 in top-tier Euro Baseball (EUB)), it has lead to an impressive concentration of quality in COB, and many potential stars of the future to enjoy watching! Without further ado, let's look at the Players of the Month for the top division, Euro Baseball, and the current pacesetting teams of both levels! Euro Baseball Batter of the Month, April 2019 1B Enrique Santiago of the Paris Triumphs! Euro Baseball Pitcher of the Month, April 2019 SP Arnaud Bois of the Amsterdam Cycles! Euro Baseball Rookie of the Month, April 2019 SP Elek Bartkowiak of the Moscow Saint Basils! Euro Baseball Leading Teams Moscow Saint Basils of the EUB East division are setting the pace, with Rome Gladiators of the EUB South-West division close behind them. Continental Baseball Leading Teams It's been an outstanding start for the Torshavn Faroes of the COB West, who have set out an early marker as promotion candidates! In Other News.... The EUBA celebrated it's first major game achievement on the 29th of April, with Monaco Riviera CF Damian Mancilla hitting for the Cycle in the 2nd-tier COB! And Finally.... Luxembourg Gorges' First Baseman Kellen Mallenbrandt was the subject of an unusual feature story in the EUBA Newsletter.... Thanks for reading! Let's see what the young EUBA brings next!
