I think my favourite creations from this thread are the ones that are, you know, bad. Not poorly done (by any means), but rather have a really goofy looking logo -- it makes the whole thing seem so much truer to the real world to have bizarre things like a dill pickle in a ball cap floating around in your leagues somewhere.

Hey Tx,
I found another texas team. The Lubbock Black Hubbers, Finding this was a chore ha, but I thought you might appreciate it. If you have time and want to make the uni and logo, that would be great! Last edited by CanofCorn73; 07-09-2015 at 02:54 PM. |

I'm thinking I could use a set for a team called the 'Brooklyn Saints'. I've been using a team named the Kings for Brooklyn in my league, but I don't think I've ever fully fleshed out their backstory, and I've always had the Saints in the back of my mind as a possible alternative anyway. That really kicked into high gear this week when I saw something online about how all the MLB teams had originally gotten their names, (the Braves in particular in this case), and I read up on the whole Tammany Hall thing. I was looking for inspiration to come up with a whole new team, (there are cities I've been trying to come up with a good team name for forever and a day), but this is what came to mind. The whole 'Society Of St. Tammany's' thing led me in this direction.
For some reason, I see a deep maroon involved in this somehow. I'm always looking for ways to evolve and revise my league, so I figured I'd see where this new idea might take me.
