Forced Trades

Not related to my previous posts, but have any of you ever switched to commish mode and forced a trade because it made too much sense for both your team and the AI team but the AI team just wouldn't do it?

I've never forced a trade in 16 years of play.

The only time I've ever used commish is to adjust a league that I didn't create quite correctly, to view a coaches ability which for some ungodly reason reason I can't do in normal mode, and to address the current perfect team bug where an acquired Perfect Team player will pop up in your solo league if you have it open.

That said I never play on 'very hard' or 'hard' trading for that reason. The AI stubbornness (and the difficulty setting is more of a 'stubbornness' setting than a 'AI plays better' setting IMO) just irritates me too much. I'm even playing a 'no trade' league ATM.

My pattern with trade leagues the last few years is to play on 'average', but with 40-50 team leagues where I have to win 110+ games to win the pennant. It provides a good challenge..
