Not Generating A Full Schedule

I recently purchased OOTP 20, and started a new game. I turned off interleague play for my schedule, because I don't think it should exist in real life. It wasn't until near and at the end of my first season I realized the game didn't generate a full schedule after I disabled interleague, and just scrapped the games completely. This resulted in a schedule of I believe 150 games or so. I played around with the scheduling rules and generated a few new schedules, and they always came back to between 150 and 153 games, never a full slate of 162, even though the setting is there for a 162 game schedule. I thought this might have had to do with that I also forced the season start date as April 1, but I changed it to March 25 just to see what would happen and regenerated, and it still gave me a short schedule. Why is this? Am I going to be forced to play interleague if I want a 162 game schedule, or just manually insert a few more series to round it out? I feel like I shouldn't have to do that.

If you are using the real MLB your issue is most likely due to the individual leagues have an odd amount of teams. If you move a team to the one league or another and have 14 in one league 16 in another should solve your issue.

In hindsight, this was probably the issue. I expanded MLB to 32, 16 in each league, with my preferred format and it worked, giving me 162 game schedules. Thanks.
