Historical Players to Amateur Pool?

I set up my league to import random historic players into the amateur draft pool. However, I'm getting an error about the file path to the historical players is wrong?

any ideas?

Same thing and if do not get it in first year same guys not different ones.

I'm not getting an error msg, but I've tried this setup with 2 different leagues, and in one I get a completely blank draft pool when the 1st year draft pool is announced.
I painstakingly started from scratch and checked my settings and now I wind up getting a pool full of fictional players.

I'm quite frustrated with this, because I spent all of my spare time in the past 2 months constructing custom schedules (new at creating schedules, took awhile to grasp how to use the excel schedule creator in the forums and then create matchups that worked) and when I played thru the game the first time, I thought I messed up the game setup when there was nobody to draft. Then I recreated the league 2 more times, making sure I had that option checked, and first got another blank draft class, then the league with the fictional draft class. If I can't get this to work, I'll have wasted all my time & effort. I love this game but it is tedious to setup a league and get the right results, and then when something like this happens it is beyond frustrating.

I am attaching screenshots, please tell me if you need more info to diagnose this.

Is this a straight random debut? Where is the error message popping up?
