Coaches in Fictional League

I am playing a Fictional League that I started in OOTP19 in June of 2018 so I have been going with it for a good period of time now. One thing that I am noticing with the league in 2037 now is that the Managers and Coaches for the teams I don't control tend to stay with their teams at least in the minors forever. Regardless of how well they do, the never leave or even move up a level toward the majors. The only time it seems that the Managers move are if they are fired from a Major League team. I have also seen that a lot of the coaches when they leave a team at the end of year will never get hired again.

Just weird things that I have seen and wondering if I didn't set something up right in the league file or if others see this type of thing as well.

Probably pretty standard. I don't think they spend too much time on coaches. I would like there to be more of a realistic mechanic of bringing players into being coaches, including player/coaches, but I understand that there are other things just far more important.

I can understand that. There are a lot of players that become coaches, just would be nice to see some of the coaches that have a Great rating move out of A ball and possibly become Major League Coaches. Some of the franchises could really use the help.

Football Manager does this. Older players often acquire separate ratings for coaching and can then be offered new contracts as coaches or player-coaches. I think it would be a cool thing to have, especially for save games that last many seasons, but also agree with Rosco that it's not a huge deal.

I've been complaining about coaches for years. I just turn them off now. On a related note, I find Football Manager infinitely more immersive in that respect
