LIVE & general card question

A)Do the ratings change on these cards based on the players' current performance or something? Or is LIVE just an interesting name they chose? I ask because I swear I've seen ridiculous variations in asking price of the same player.

B)I know there can be two cards of the same player like Kimbrel or Ozzie Smith, but I've heard that you can "train" a player new positions. Does that increase the OVR rating of the player by having more positions than you started them with?

Basically I'm trying to figure out if aside from position ratings, cards are static or fluctuating.

A. For PT 19, the ratings on Live cards will not change. To my understanding, they will change in PT 20 once the season starts and the players start playing irl. They'll be updated weekly-ish based on their actual performance. Price fluctuation happening in this version is just random market changes.

B. In this version, all player overall ratings are static. The only thing that will change over time is the position ratings. If a player has the defensive ratings to be trained in a position, he will train up as high as he can according to the given defensive ratings over likely a full season or more. Aside from that, cards will have no change in ratings. I don't know how this will apply to the PT 20, but that's something we can worry about in a couple weeks.
