upper right corner > pulldown menu > 'pick until human' > ...your pick

If you aren't seeing the "Action Menu" at the draft screen click on the NHL and then go down and select the Entry Draft. That will bring up the Entry Draft screen again and then use the Action Menu to select "Pick Until Human".

Thought I'd contain my question in this thread.

During your NHL draft pick, is there a way to see/sort available draft players by the Central Scouting ranking? Only relevant ranking I can get is "Ability" and "Potential".

Not at the moment, but it's not a bad idea. I'll see if there's an easy way we can add it to the draft screen.

That would be awesome, it's something I always wish were there when doing the draft and then forget to ask for here, so thanks Brewsky!

I have a draft related question of my own. I created an OHL player with the intention of them entering the draft. I have his NHL league rights set to none and his birthday set to an appropriate date. However i've noticed he isnt showing up on any of the NHL scouting lists for the next draft. Should i still expect him to show up in the draft? If not, how would i make him eligible for the draft?

He should be eligible, it sounds like you've set him up correctly. The birthdate is the year of the next draft-18, and not after September 15? And what time of year did you create him?

his 18th birthday will be August 20th 2019. I created on the first day, which i believe was August 5th. It's mostly the fact that he isn't showing up on any scouting lists that has me worried

Ah, it's the August 5 that's the problem. The list of players Central Scouting looks at is created on July 1, so if he wasn't in the game at that point, they won't scout him. He'll still be draft-eligible, though.

No. Same for the WHL rule allowing 15-year-olds to play a limited number of games. Exceptions on the younger end of the min/max age rules are a little more difficult to handle than overage rules; I'd like to add them, but getting the AI to work with them in a sensible way is tough.
