Run Computer Manager on Team not complete
If you have a human-controlled team, then change the team to be computer-controlled (and even 'Run Computer Manager' manually), certain settings are not being reset and/or managed by the computer, such as:
1. 7 day lineup usage: For example, if the human manager used 7-day lineups, the computer-manager does not revert these back to non-7-day lineups. This causes major problems if the 7 day lineups are incomplete (e.g. if they only have 2 pitchers identified in the 7 day lineup scheme, then the computer will have those 2 pitchers start every game of the season!) 2. pitch counts: This causes problems because when the computer takes over a team, they will leave a pitcher with that certain pitch count for the rest of his career! These were two issues I noticed after turning my online league into a solo league and noticed a fwe players with stats way out of whack.

Check for a box you can uncheck to turn seven man lineups off. Run Computer Manager on team isn't designed to manage a team. It's meant to fill out rosters largely in the event that an online league owner isn't participating. It's better to change the team to computer managed.
When you do change it, are you sure that the computer is still honoring the lineups and pitch counts? I know you said stats are out of whack, but did that happen with the team set to be controlled by a human? |

Don't know, but this strikes me as a red flag. I've never played in an online league, much less tried to do this conversion. This might be something to focus on, to see if perhaps you have to do more to make that conversion work properly.

I don't think that's really the problem. I don't think there's much difference between the hardware for an online and offline league. I think it mostly has to do with cheating prevention.
