Tomas Reed, SS

Reed retires as the best position player ever in MLB history, completing his career at age 44. He won 5 MVP awards, Rookie of the year, 7 silver sluggers, and went to 8 all-star games. He was the AL Division Series and Championship MVP but never won a World Series. He was drafted 1st overall out of Oregon State in 1908 and immediately dominated the league, averaging over 8 WAR in five out of his first six seasons. Once he turned 28, his defense fell off a cliff but instead of sticking at shortstop he transitioned into a slugging first baseman. He holds the records for games, at-bats, runs, hits, total bases, singles, RBIs, and career WAR.

A.J. Aranha, LHP

Vladimiro Trejo, RF

Trejo was a scouting discovery out of the Dominican Republic in 1908 and debuted in 1912 with the Marlins. He won an MVP in 1914, went to four all-star games, won a gold glove and was a 7-time silver slugger.

D.J. Leverton, CF

Leverton was a premier power hitter while playing a good CF. He won three gold gloves, one silver slugger, and went to four all-star games. Originally drafted 1st overall out of Weatherford, TX, Leverton was an elite prospect who debuted at age 21 and played his entire career with the Blue Jays.

Owen Clodfelter, 1B

Marlon Pepper actually re-signed with the Mariners for 7 years. He was traded to the Mariners in 1929 from the Cubs but rejected the qualifying offer in 1930.
