Can I play on weekends only?

Just started a city league, 8 teams, amateur, no financials. I entered a 42 game schedule by hand, with games only taking place on Saturdays and Sundays, and it worked perfectly in Season 1. However, Season 2 started on a Wednesday, so that season had games played only on a Wednesday and Thursday! Is there any way I can force the schedule to start on a Saturday and stick to weekends only? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You should be able to force start on a specific day under your league/schedule options.

Follow up question: now that I have the teams playing just a weekends, is there a way to ensure that the 3-game play-off for the Championship also takes place on a weekend? [Maybe a single game on Saturday, followed by a double-header on Sunday, if required?] The game seems to schedule the play-off series in midweek, following the last regular season game.

You are likely going to need to wait until the game schedules them and then manually move them.

I thought that was the likely scenario, but thanks very much for confirming.
