Recent Historical Game

Quick question - I'm trying to start a historical game in 2013 using real historical minors. When I start the game, though, potential ratings are all screwed up. No matter how I run it - recalc on or off - some of the potential ratings for minor league players are terrible. Mookie Betts, for example, has a contact potential of 44/100. Travis Shaw has potential ratings in the mid-30's - while he's not a star, he's still a serviceable major leaguer. Matt Barnes says his fastball tops out at 90 mph and has ratings well below average across the board. Is this something I'm going to have to edit manually for each prospect, or is there a way to fix it at game creation?

All these fellas were in their first or second year as a 2013 historical league only uses stats up to 2012. None of them were barnburners.

I do not know how the game cowculates potential but I would not expect it to use future stats. That might be viewed as a cheat.

So if you need the game to match your expectorations you will more than likely need to edit.
