OOTP13 to OOTP14
I've never actually gone through an update since OOTP13 was my first experience with the franchise. When I get OOTP14 will I be able to transfer my fictional league over without losing my players/history/stats etc.?

Yes. I have transferred my league through 2 versions of OOTP with no problems.

v10-v13 for me. I had one glitch but that might have been me not OOTP.

Well that's great news. The only thing I need to find out now is, with my league only 8 years in, there's still a lot of teams' rosters with players in the 21-25 range and thus, not a lot of 'good' teams. I guess it just takes awhile for the league to establish itself but the updates in OOTP14 sound like they'll help the balance a bit better.

Will the league stadiums and ball locations for each field be transferred over as well?

Verison 5 to 13 for me.
Player history is all there. Team and league history there from version 2006 on. No regions and all my states are screwed up. So while I don't have everything I want yet (history editor and region/state editor). It's still very enjoyable. |

A state editor exists in OOTP 13.

Maybe this has been answered so I apologize in advance:
If I transfer my league from OOTP 13 to 14, will the player ratings be adjusted according to the new roster set?

I am curious about this too. I imported my league from version 12 to version 13 last year but the ratings didn't import with it. I had to re-import all the players in a template and delete the duplicates with the outdated ratings.

No, your ratings will import "as is" from your v13 league. Once your game starts your roster is "locked in" to your "baseball world" and is always evolving and changing. Having Markus code some module that would "update" ratings would negate any development\regression that occurred in your world and replace it with the roster makers current ratings. Not sure why anyone would want that?

MAKE SURE to check all your settings though, I have screenshots of mine just to make sure everything is the way I have it setup.
