Dunce needs help in installing backup copy

I need help in installing a backup copy in my Dynasty League.

I did a search for help, but found nothing.

I have spent a year and a half on this league and don't want to lose it.

Sorry, I am computer-challenged.

I want to go back to the start of a season and begin again.

When I try to copy the backup to the league folder, it just places it in the league folder.

It doesn't overwrite the current league info.

The old league is there and the backup league is there, too, but in its own folder.

Hope this makes sense to you...cause I am not too sure of what I am writing here.

Eugene, open up the backup league folder. Choose Edit, select all then right click, choose copy.

Go to your league folder, right click choose paste. You will probably be asked if you want to overwrite files. choose yes to all.

No guarantees but this should work.

That is the way I have always done it, but it doesn't overwrite. It just puts the backup in with the one I want to replace.

I think I will try to move the original league and then see if the game will use the backup copy in the folder.

Just right click the LEAGUE.lg folder itself at the next level up, click copy, right click on an empty part of the window and click paste. Should save as 'Copy of LEAGUE.lg'.

Thanks, guys.

But I called in a woman to do a man's job.

I called in my favorite expert...my favorite wife...we're polygamists. (No!...just kidding)

She knows everything about everything and fixed it.

She removed the extra backups that I apparently had put in the folder when trying to copy the backup to the one I wanted to replace.

She then just copied the backup to the original league folder and overwrote it.

Thanks for trying to help. I probably didn't properly describe my dilemma.
