Jui-Ho Hung -> should be Jui-He Hung, y.o.b. 1949, is the former owner of Chinatrust Brothers, should be removed
Ming-chieng Lin - duplicated, should be deleted
Bao-You Liu - should be Pao-Yu Liu, y.o.b. 1951, is the owner of Lamigo Monkeys, should be removed
Shi-Shu Yi - should be Ssu-Hsun Yi, y.o.b. 1966, should be a team trainer, Exp.: 17 yrs

Pin-Chieh Chen - signed with Tokushima Indigo Socks

Name changes:

Other leagues:

Chia-Hao Sung - Bats/Throw should be L/R, place of birth should be Taitung

For the starting GM's in a standard game, there is little variation in the GM sliders. Overall Roster Strategy is all variable. That, however, is where the variation stops.

With the exception of Hazan, Coppola, Duquette, Zaidi, and Peller, there is very little to no variation in Player Valuation.

All Sliders for Trading Strategy and Prospect Strategy are identical with the exception of the 5 GM's I listed above. I did not check any free agents or anyone in any other role. I only checked the GM's starting with teams in the 2017 Standard Game start.

there's a lot of guys who've been released in spring training that are in the game as retired.

The fix will require restarting your saved game, unless you do some database trickery.

Well, probably.

A lot of the retirements are automated to keep the numbers of FA's down to a manageable level.

You can always unretire them yourself.

That may not be the perfect way to deal with things, but it's hard to get the right balance!
