Pulled up the web link page an hour ago and it was showing playoff results.... but showed the finals as Michigan over Waffletown 2 games to 3.... seems a bit odd for a 7 game series to declare a winner before its over unless the data didn’t update correctly... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Motown lost the world series in 7 games. Game 6 was an extra inning loss which took out my two best relievers so I thought game 7 might be trouble. And I was right.
That's the breaks.... see you in Bronze! |

While the kids were able to generate a 500 point award and plenty of 50 point awards for all the base stealing, it was much easier to generate points using hitters & pitchers. The kids replaced the runners with hitters and were able to create three 10-12 win game streaks (1500 points for the longer ones). Looking forward to the new week and the improved competition.

I feel like I owe this to you. Back in 2022 (or 2024?), I felt like I jinxed you because I made up a double crown before the playoffs were over. I vowed never to do that again. I'm glad you were the first to double up. |

Wow, the list getting big! May have to start posting in two parts. It seems like it's big enough to read.

For the new teams
The compliance outline. As a txt and png. With different names, of course.
Actually, I noticed a typo, so I re-named and re-posted, but I'll still own the head slap. Last edited by Stanley Kuppchaser; 05-27-2019 at 08:19 AM. |

Good luck to all. Looking forward to my first season in OL. Curious to see how my team does as I didn't pay much attention to the level of competition in the entry pool and more on building a lineup.

Wow... this is going to be quite a year!
Ok, so these are my pitching matchups in my first seven games... game 1 is against 98 Roy Halladay, game 2 is against perfect Tom Seaver (PEAK), game 3 is against 98 Kevin Brown, game 4 is against perfect Dwight Gooden, game 5 is against 98 Mordecai Brown, then finally I get a breather facing "lowly" 95 Fergie Jenkins in game 6 and "lowly" 95 Robin Roberts in game 7. The highest OVR player on my entire roster is 93.
Looking at the teams throughout the league, I see only two others that have fewer than twelve diamond and above players on their roster. There is a HUGE difference between Diamond and Perfect. This will be quite a humbling experience this year.

Job Well Done
It's nice too see that all the teams got pulled into leagues together. Chores to do, so the schedule for S254 will have to wait until later. AH was tough. Despite having saved up at least 10K for all three teams, only added a player or two. I'm also affected by my reluctance to cut loose my players, since I only pick up those I liked when I still watched baseball. If I saw you on Kiner's Korner, it's a big plus. That's why I was delighted to over spend for Ron Santo, although it hurt to cut Fernando Tatis. He was high on my Strat-O-Matic prospect list near the end of PBM carrer, but I never got the chance to draft him. Also had to ditch Miguel Tejada, but replaced him with Harvey Kuenn, who was still around when I was just getting into baseball as a kid. Enough of memory lane. RL duty calls. Good luck to all.
