Player of the game: The Cardinals' Woody Williams tossed six shutout innings, allowing three hits while walking five and striking out eight.
The Jonathan LuCroy was 1 for 4 with a three-run home run off Troy Percival in the eighth inning that turned a 1-0 deficit into a 3-1 lead.
