BIZ & Defensive Stats help

I'm having trouble finding out what all the BIZ - ratings mean in sortable stats when you customize view.

It doesn't seem these are normally tracked sabermetrics that I could find. I did find that BIZ is Balls-In-Zone, but I searched the OOTP manual and online and couldn't find any mention of all the categories.

Does anybody use these? I have a hard time believing they would have 16 different types of BIZ to choose from if they were not useful.

Finally, I was wondering what you guys predominately used for determining a players defensive value? There isn't anything like defensive runs saved in the game, I've just been using zone rating (ZR) in OOTP, is that the best one to use?

not sure about BIZ, but ZR is definitely the defensive stat I rely on most heavily. I think it is fairly analogous to DRS
