Steam - Newbie Question
Hey Guys
Hopefully this is the right place to post this(apologizes if its not) I am going to download the game, but I am a little confused at the difference between downloading it on my computer via this site vs downloading it through steam. Just wasn't sure if I was missing out on something. Cheers |

The eSellerate version (the one you download here) activates and runs without needing to install any other software. You get two licenses with the purchase, so you can install it on two different systems. Game updates need to be downloaded and installed manually.
The Steam version requires that you install the Steam client and get a Steam account (both free) to download and run it; it'll update automatically when there's a new version (assuming you don't turn that feature off), and includes a few small extras (Steam achievements and digital trading cards.) Since your Steam account can be accessed on any computer you can install the client on, you can install and play it wherever you are (but only on one system at once, since you can't log into the account simultaneously from multiple places.) |
