His trainer said he was the one who pulled the plug on the fight. Maybe he was just saving face for Saunders, but it was probably for the best since the report is multiple fractures. And you could see the socket was caved in when they zoomed in on it. Let Saunders fight another day instead of risking blindness

I recall my man George Chuvalo got a similar injury in his fight with Joe Frazier. No one is paid enough to be permanently disfigured or lose an eye.
