Hendu's rewriting of history.
The other best one was actually in the old forum for Inside the Park... what was that called?

I like
1) Orcin's Story (the trilogy) 2) Eugene Church 3) Westheim - Portland Racoons 4) GM Spreadsheet Expos 5) gehrig38 Everyone has some really good lists. It is really hard to list just 5. There is a clear #1. I like the stats, but the storyline too boot makes the dynasty real. The game play plus the story. Impressive. Orcin brings in a story within the game I definitely like the most. He brings the dynasty more to life than anything I have ever read. I hope he writes another soon. The ink has dried too long on the last entry. I wish that I had that kind of imagination to make mine pop like that. I think that is the measuring stick for all of us on future write ups. Granted I don't think we need Harlequin romances; however, a good storyline with active characters goes a long way. I never can remember the name of the guy that wrote it, but quite a ways back there was a guy that did a White Sox dynasty. Still probably my favorite of all time. The guy that wrote it had a great sense of humor(much like Westheim -Racoons) and since his Sox were always struggling his humor found lots to poke fun at. He had nicknames for all his players that often weren't too flattering. I tend to enjoy the dynasties in which the writer's team fails more often than not.

1. Laseron Baseball Association (Portlander/Goody/Dark Horse)
2. Metro League (DreamTeams) 3. United Leagues of Braeland (reds1) 4. Worst to First (NYY #23) These are just my all-time favorites... there are many other wonderful dynasties that I just don't have time to follow and still do my dynasties. In general, I love great graphics with maps, logos, uniforms, stadiums, believable team names and player names... located in a fictional country, complete with its history... I like traditional baseball like it was played in the Golden Age of Baseball... the 1950s... my generation. Laseron had a wonderful website with a newspaper written by the individual owners, who were creative writers... it really was something... a wonderful fantasy world with maps, marvelous uniforms, team names, stadiums, logos and creative player names... it stands in a class by itself. The Metro Leagues is excellent, too, with its fine stadiums, uniforms, logos and maps... DreamTeams has a wonderful creation and a wonderful website... I would love to live in his Metro Leagues world. United Leagues of Braeland has a wonderful storyline that enraptured me... tying in Babe Ruth with the Royal Family of Braeland was pure genius... reds1 is a superb writer and storyteller... and a graphics genius to boot. It's unbelievable the time and effort NYY #23 has put into his dynasties... the Worst to First is truly remarkable and extremely popular... it's got to be in the running for the number one dynasty of all-time... it's been going for years and now numbers over 300,000 views. |

I thought it was George bell's dynasties that got me going and nyy#23 reports.
Watching those guys do their dynasties made me want to do my real time seasons. They paved the way for me to do my stories right.

A few years ago we did a call for nomiations and voting for a dynasty Hall of Fame. I've included the links in case anyone wants to look through.
There were definitely both good nominations, and well deserved honorees, in my opinion. Hall of Fame Ballot Hall of Fame Results |

You are right. It had been a few years back. I think it is always fresh to see people's views on Dynasty reports. It has been some really cool feedback to visit this again. Some stories were brought up that wasn't during the nomination process.

You are right, which is why I didn't say it was a bad idea to get some fresh feedback. If the links are helpful and someone wants to read them great, if not, that's fine too.
