Please re-rate iOOTP in the AppStore!
Hey guys,
can you do us a favor and re-rate the game in the AppStore? We haven't had many reviews for the latest version, and I'd love to get our overall rating back to 4 stars Here is the link to the game in iTunes: App Store - iOOTP Baseball 2011 Thank you guys! Markus |

Make the game stable on the first gen iPad and maybe I'll rate it high. It quits on me all the time and it's extremely frustrating. I've emailed you guys and posted here with no response from anyone.

Stability
I will re-rate when the game is stabilized on the iPad. I have a first gen iPad with one game that is 10 seasons long and I am at the point where I can make the game crash at will. Specifically, in season nine and season ten I have reached the final round of playoffs when I like to manage the game at a PbP level. Unfortunately, I cannot manage the game at this level anymore because it will crash by the fifth inning. I have seen DaMook post on this stability problem but haven't seen a response yet.

I did all my testing on an iPad 1 and have no crashes at all. That is not to say that your problems is false but to say that it should be possible to play iOOTP on the iPad 1.
iOOTP is pretty heavy on memory so naturally you should always close other Apps before playing it and combine it with a total reboot from time to time. That said, we always look into improving such things as best as we can and reducing the memory usage of iOOTP is pretty high on my list for 2012.

no probs
I play on an iPad 1 and I have never had any problems whatsoever. So I have no idea what the problem may be for someone else. But mine has always worked fine. Still wishing for the ability to print the stats etc...

Any large App I've ever had for an idevice has required reboots after massive app installs and from time to time during regular use. I have to restart my computer from time to time. I have to restart my iPad from time to time. This isn't a out of the ordinary recommendation. |
