You can go above the Salary Cap in the Offseason
See attached image. I was able to advance a day / multiple days without being forced to bring my team under the offseason salary upper limit.

You can go over the cap in the off season. You have to be under the cap by the start of the season. Not a bug.

There's an upper limit to the salary cap in the offseason, team's aren't allowed to go over it. For the current cap its 87,450,000. That's what I'm referring to.

Can you upload the save? I'd like to see the sequence of events that got you above the cap, looks like you should've been stopped at some point in your free agent signings but it let you keep going.

Uploaded the save via Cyberduck, the file name is RebuildingHockeytown.zip. I advanced in the game and am near the start of the season. I traded a number of contracts so currently I am under the cap for the start of the year. But I was able to take my time doing this during the offseason (including having Eric Staal, why has a NMC, on the trade block to wait for a trade offer).

Yeah, looks like the Pietrangelo + Kreider signings on July 1 put you over. Whichever one happened second should've been stopped, but apparently wasn't; we'll try to figure out why that happened.
