WOW More Ripoffs from MLB.TV

I logged into watch an archived game today for the heck of it and I kept getting this message telling me to buy the Offseason Package. I thought that was weird since I had All Access and last year the auto renew (another bone of contention) didn't kick in until Spring Training so my subscriptions shouldn't have expired.

Anyways, I go check my e-mail that I registered for the service and notice on Nov 29 they sent me an e-mail saying my subscription had ended and if I wanted to watch any games, I was going to have to pay the $14.99 offseason package.

First off, isn't $100 good enough for 12 months of access? MLB, don't you make enough money that you don't have to artificially create an Offseason Package, effectively turning our 12 month subscription into an eight month subscription?

Second, what happened to the auto-renewal? Is this going to magically kick in in March or April, despite denying me access all Winter?

Signed

Very Annoyed.

I use it because I travel a lot....and they don't show too many Jays games in the US.

Other than about 30 Jays games a year, TSN hasn't broadcasted any baseball in the three years I've lived here.

What about the extra innings baseball package for TV? I guess it costs a bit more but at least you can watch it on your tv instead of your PC.

That's not really an option for me. Extra innings cost about 3 times as much as mlb.tv at least here. Money is very much an issue. A lot of time in the summer i'm not home in the evenings for jobs or travel so it's nice to be able to watch games after they've been played. Three, i don't mind watching the games on my pc. My pc has a much better sound system than my tv and the moniter is pretty much the same size as my tv. I don't have a big monitor my tv is just that small. I'd love to be able to boycot mlb.tv but i can't really. The first two years i had it, it was a much better product, now it seems they've just got greedy.

XM radio would be an option to look into.
It works about ~75 miles into Canada

TSN sucks unless you like hockey or strongman contests. Rogers are the only station that show decent baseball. The Jays obsession really pisses me off. Even when the Expo's were still here, it was always JAYS JAYS JAYS... expos... JAYS JAYS JAYS!
