The most recent sale (today) was 150K and the last 7 avg is up to 141K, so perhaps the price is stabilizing. The market is slow for all cards > 100K right now.

Cards like that sell a lot more often than you would think. Yesterday I had a perfect dwight gooden sell for 120K despite seeing several available at 80K all last week. Guys like us would never pay 50% over average but if you end up having the only copy of a premium card on the market some people just don't care.
There were a couple perfect Gooden's up for around 60k last week. I sold mine for about 80k and thought that was a decent move. 120k though - dang!

Yeah. I think the diamond pack sale put a large number of "almost as good" options on the market that people are picking up instead at slight discounts. When searching yesterday there was nearly a full page of solid 97-99 rated SPs

Besides pitching and type of hitter, what is really the difference between a perfect Ruth and a 99 Ruth?

So I really wanted Perfect Ruth. I had 94 Ruth and saw 99 Ruth for 125K. Bought him to get Perfect Ruth. When comparing stats in my leagues between 99 and Perfect Ruth, both hit around .250 with an OBA around .370. So I sold Perfect Ruth for 180k,

Basically I gained 37k to upgrade my 94 Ruth.

Precisely why this mission was so ill-conceived. Owners of the 100 Ruth from before the release should receive reparations.

Most recent sale was a bid war that ended at 115K.

I ended up participating with one of the early bids. I had 90K PP as my bid, but then found myself hoping someone outbid me. I don't think I would enjoy having him on my team.

Mini Ruth (94) has been outrageous lately in the AH at over 100. Not sure they are selling?

They aren't selling. I did see a couple sell at 50-55.

yeah I have not seen one sell. As I said at the start of this thread, eventually the supply of 94 and 99 will dry up since so many are getting locked. The math is getting closer to 250K for baby and middle ruth then under 150K for selling big ruth, you are better off just buying a perfect one instead of going thru the mission to keep 99

I think a lot of people complete the mission (and other -EV missions) because they are chasing a total number of completed missions as opposed to the prize for the mission itself.

I finally took the plunge at 130K. I figure his price isn't going to drop much more with the momentum from the first wave of collections dropping off. It's not an investment, since I don't think the price will go back up either. But he doesn't really fit in with my team, so we'll see how this experiment plays out.

I haven't seen one listed for a while. Is the glut over? What is the last 7 average now?

Seen a few 100 Ruths listed recently. Around the 120k PP mark. I think some sold, some expired.

I have a Baby Ruth and am looking to perform this gambit. How much does the 99 Ruth go for?
