Unable to advance day
I am currently the manager Syracuse Crunch in the AHL. It is the last week of the season and the Tampa Bay Lightning have called up most of my prospects. I went and signed some players under the age of 26 and submitted the offers but it won't allow me to advance the day so they accept them because I get a prompt that says an insufficient number of prospects in the lineup. I'm not sure what to do because I can't advance the day without the prospects and I can't get the prospects without advancing the day.
Is it possible to forfeit a playoff game? I hope there is a solution. Last edited by ptg1204; 05-08-2018 at 08:45 PM. |

It should sign the players immediately when you're in that situation without needing to wait for them to answer. Could you upload the save (instructions here) and I'll try to see what's going wrong?

OK, I was able to fix it. PM me with your email address and I'll send you the dropbox link to the fixed file.
I'm not sure why it wasn't letting you sign guys instantly, but I added enough young free agents to your roster to allow you to continue. Generally, when you're in the AHL you don't want to rely too heavily on NHL-contracted players - even if they're giving you a full roster, you should keep 10-15 players under contract to cover situations like this. You can just put them on your reserve list until/if they're needed. |
