Some how Playoffs don't happen and is checked to happen.

I try to install it as a "quick game" and it crashes my game....ideas? Im fully patched as well..so I'm confused.

I'm having the same issue. a text box pops up saying the data is corrupt and will not load, so I have deleted and re-installed multiple times and still nothing. Is there another location to download from?

I downloaded the file, Installed it, but when I go to load it in New Quickstart Game I'm getting these error messages?

Any tips here?

I had the same issue...but figured it out ... the download has zipped files... you need to unzip them.

I'm a newbie here, played Strat-o-Matic, Persue the Pennant and other baseball games. My question is when do the ratings from the final 2015 Statistics come out

Anyone else have to load all the uniforms for the MLB? My teams just had generic ones. The logos were correct. The minor leagues for the US also have to be loaded. All other leagues (international, etc) have their uniforms and locked. Weird. Using the auto check when loading the game doesn't work. If you don't have a team locked and then use the auto update it reverts back to the generic uniform and cap.

From what I've seen in the past, been playing since 2002, they put out a final roster after the September call up with all trades completed. Then when the new version of the game is released the following spring there will be updated ratings. Some modders have put out their own version s over the winter before.

Has anyone found a solution for this? I've re-installed several times and continue to get the same message.

I've let the game install the quickstart and I've manually extracted everything other times but neither method works.

Help please!

Make sure to update your game to the latest patch then try again

Nope. OOTP17 is next year's version, released in 2016. The OOTP-- designation isn't based on the year as with some lesser games, it's the version # of OOTP. So the game is always one year behind, or exactly on as the case may be, since you can't realistically be one year ahead

Any chance we could get two separate roster updates in the future?

-One with just the players ratings being updated

-Another with the updated ratings and teams

I know many of you love the current setup, but I'd like just a ratings update too for a couple of the guys PECOTA misses.

This is kinda what you get now, where we only update ratings till sometime in July-August, then, if all goes well, try to release a version with all transactions updated as well in early September.

Only thing is, we could be a bit more aggressive on updating the ratings, but we don't want to overreact to guys having flukily good half seasons.

We're also a bit hit or miss on the September update, it happens some years and doesn't happen others, but given that it's not really part of the marketing of the game, and is basically a gift from haveband and I, that's pretty much the best we can do
