Ideas to Kick Around

Hi, Paul. Not sure how far along you are with the game (Title Bout 3), but here are a few ideas I thought we could all kick around. Lets call it Option 1 for the Perfect Alternate Universe...

Start with a core of boxers of varied ability, most of whom, for obvious reasons, would be comparative fodder for the rest. Add the rest of your pool gradually, based on the year their individual career started. By default, the game matches up fighters based on criteria set by the gamer (i.e. cities, countries, regions, ability, etc.) The gamer can set aside certain boxers over whom they would have managerial control. (Should fixing fights be allowed?)

Once a fighter's ratings are set you have the option to hide everything except physical stats (i.e. height, reach, etc.) and a scout's rating or the rating of an international periodical or online service.

- Boxers stay in their home country/region for first 5-10 bouts, then fight anywhere.
- Scheduling would be impacted by unexpected injuries in the gym or from cuts, kayos, etc in previous fights.
- Organizations would set the days a fighter must be on the disabled list and unavailable due to injury.
- Organizations might also schedule rematches in close fights.
- Who decides who gets a title shot, the gamer or organizations, should be optional.
- Cards would occur somewhere in your world almost every day.
- You decide where and when your hand-picked boxers fight.

I like it in addition to this I would like to see some kind of a "draft" from an organization hidden values except physical stuff. Or even somewhat of a clue scouting reports. The better the scout the better the report stuff. And certain "incidents" like fanman, the pay per chomp, refs missing OBVIOUS low blows, corrupt judges etc.... and even the corner men stopping a fighter even if said fighter wants to go on....you know a little more realism it wont be all blood and ko's but a little something more.
