Trade Bug

Hello,
So here's the story, I used the shop player feature to look for a trade for a player on my team. I got a bunch of offers with NYI offering a third-round pick. This seemed to be the best way to go as I wanted to clear the salary cap, but being early in the season I thought it may be easier to get a second rounder out of them. They subsequently rejected that trade and then I changed it back to a third-round pick and a prospect. They also rejected this offer. As these negotiations were going on I received a trade offer for another player on my team from the Avalanche, that I didn't want to accept and I am pretty sure I rejected. I decided I should just try and get the original deal that was offered, so I scrolled down the mail list to the NYI's original offer of a third-round pick and clicked on accept trade. I had assumed that there would be no options in that mail but in this case, there was. After I clicked accept trade, a new mail item came up reporting on my trade with the Avalanche, which was previously rejected, and not the intended trade with the Islanders.
I will add a save file to that place where all the save files go that the development team may want to look at. The name will be Brian trade bug.

Interesting, sounds like it could be something with the way the shop player messages work, but we'll probably need to save to know for sure. I'll keep an eye out for it.

Thanks, Jeff,
I added it as Brian Trade Bug. I added the .lg file, but after I added I realized you only wanted the .dat files I can re-upload that later if you rather only have that.

No, this is good, you uploaded the right stuff, this should make it easy to find the problem since you also included the stuff in the rolling save folders, so we can look back before this happened. One question: when you tried to renegotiate the Islander offer, did you do that via the "Discuss Trade" reply option in the message, or did you create a new trade offer? It looks like I can accept any of the other "shopped" offers and they work, so I'm guessing it's some very specific situation where the exact timing and methods used may need to be replicated to see what went wrong.

I used the "discuss trade" option in the email for the original shop player email all subsequent rejections that I received.
