Disabling AI substitutions
I like to manage most of my games, but I will sometimes skip ahead an inning or two. Can I disable the AI taking out my pitcher during that time (except for injury)?
(Sorry about the duplicate post - I originally put this in general discussion, but it probably fits better here...) |

Yes, go to the Options page during the game and take over Substitutions in Manager Controls for the innings that you sim (for that matter, if you are playing out your game you might as well put yourself in control of substitutions for the entire game). The only pitfall is that your pitcher(s) could be shelled and suffer ERA shock if you sim some innings while you control substitutions - the AI will not be empowered to step in. The downside could be he gets unhappy with his performance, which makes him pitch worse, etc.

My name is already listed there and in the other three windows as well. When I "fast forward" even an inning during the game, though, there's a chance my pitcher will be replaced. It's driving me crazy! My bullpen is totally gassed all the time!
