Historical sandbox game crashing

I created a historical sandbox game starting in the 1992/1993 season and In the offseason before the 1998/1999 season then when I reopen the file the screen is black and blue and the only team is the Montreal Canadians and if I start to sim the game crashes again

Had you ever shut down FHM3 while in the middle of watching a game? Sebastian says it looks like the problem is a game that didn't complete properly, we're just trying to figure out how it happened.

Is it possible that you talk about the historical saves?

Our question is regarding the two modern games with Edmonton. Somehow in both saves your game at that day was already played but not set to be played, so it will be simulated/played out again (which leads to the crash). The only possibility is that you somehow quit the game with saving before the game was finished and I don´t see how that works. So any additional info would be great.

the only time i quit the game was during the sim that wouldn't stop so it would never during a game
