Is this normal (Scheduling issue) and how do playoffs work??

Ok, first issue. Is it normal to have 20 straight games a month. I went back to check my monthly schedule, and I'm constantly playing 20 straight games before a day off. I never checked before, and that seems awfully insane. My guys have only had 2 days off the entire month of September.

With 5 games left in the regular season, I'm very happy to say that for the first time for me, in PT, I am going to the post season.

What time does the set playoff roster option pop up? I'm so happy and nervous that I finally get to make a playoff push.

I'm currently 88-69 (I know, not that great)... anyone else in S313?

And, because I'm bored, here is my team heading into the playoffs:

Rotation:
Chris Sale 100 (pulled 2 out of the 1 pack I got last night)
Justin Verlander 96
Blake Snell 92
Patrick Corbin 89
Larry Dierker 83 (dont know who he is, but he won a starters job going 18-6, 3.00)

Pen
Kopech 80
Sasaki 81
Hader 80
Vazquez 83
SU Hoffman 84
SU Paxton 89
CL Doolittle 89

Lineup
C Lieberthal 85 / Boone 78
1B Votto 83 / Crawford 71
2B Zobrist 81
3B Baker 90 / Suarez 85
SS Machado 89
LF Nimmo 84 / Puig 80
CF: Maddox 85
RF: Cravath 93
DH: Kaline 84

Any comments?

Good luck! I like your starting rotation. There is no playoff roster per se. Same as regular season. I like Cravath. Should be fun!

Cravath is new, got him out of the AH last night, wanted some more HR power. I lucked out, my rotation and pen were all out of very few packs. Pretty much all my guys were pulled..

Larry Dierker is on almost ever team that has him, including me.

Just answering this since nobody else has:

Yes, 20 straight games without a day off is the most allowed by the current CBA. It doesn't happen to every team every year, but it is more common than you think. Also, PT uses the real 2018 MLB schedule, so I should certainly hope it's realistic...

I just pulled a 90 Strasburg, but I dont know who to send down?

Paxton? Kopech? Move Corbin to pen?

Edit- I sent down Vazque, Corbin to pen, Stras to rotation....
