Left Handed Catcher?
Search didn't turn anything up, but I just drafted a kid in the 30th (of 40) round who is a L/L catcher. Huh?

You don't see them because of obvious reasons. A left handed thrower would be more apt to hit a RH batter with his throwing motion. And a pitch out would make him catch the ball and have to turn his body to make a throw. I will have to do a little research, but I cannot think of a major league LH throwing catcher.

Yeah Page, that was basically the point--is this a bug or just an anomaly?

There have been 30 Major League LH Throwing Catchers, according to the Encyclopedia of Baseball. Most of those were before 1900. Including 1900 there have been a grand total of 94 games caught at the major league level by a LH throwing catcher.
