Columbia, SC - Segra Park

Segra Park in Columbia is a kind of generic retro-modern park, including a fun triangle in the outfield. The back wall has a few "hall of fame" plaques from the team's hypothetical future. The dimensions are a bit on the small side, so it plays pitcher friendly, except for home runs.

BTW, I think this is the nicest one you have made so far.
I actually have a bit of a backlog - I'm trickling them out, so I'm not staying up late into the night finishing them right now - gotta get that sleep. And thank you for the compliment - I like it too.

Baton Rouge, LA - Alex Box Stadium

This stadium is based on the newer version of Alex Box Stadium, the home of the LSU Tigers (which is a borderline minor league team anyways.) The ballpark is in the shadow of the home of the football Tigers, and a couple of the elements of the park (including the scoreboard and yellow brick building in right) are incorporated into the park. The park itself is relatively large, so it has a lot of space for doubles and triples and not as much for home runs.

Dayton, OH - Day Air Ballpark

This was a fun one to build. Day Air Park is located in an urban setting in Dayton, so building the surrounding neighborhood and fitting the stadium into it was a lot of fun for me. It's also a relatively compact park, but it plays pretty neutral.

Are these real parks, generally, or fictional, with low's logos included? I'm just wondering, that's all. Hope to see a lot more good work from you as time permits and all, of course, and I really don't think I'm the only one who's doing so now, either, around here. CD out.

FYI, I live in Columbia. For SEGRA Park, I'd get rid of the upper decks in the outfield. A centerfield wall and a grassy knoll is more realistic.

The actual field dimensions are based on real life fields. The models I build around them are the more fictional part - I put an mlb style stadium around minor league or college fields.

Thanks SDW. If I go back and redo it at some point I'll keep that in mind.

Cape Coral/Fort Myers, FL - Hammond Park

This one (field based on the Twins spring training home) was also fun to build, but for different reasons from Dayton. The curved wall in the right field side was a bit intricate, but it was a fun distraction in the last few days (it's based on a Marlins concept from the 1990s.) Because it's a retractable roof stadium it has both an open and closed option below.

The park itself is pretty neutral, but with low home run numbers.

Holy cow, this is a wonderful park. It may be a bit weird, but I may re-purpose this to being the park for my Arlington, TX-based team in my fictional league. Well done, my man.

Thanks! It was one of my favorites to make, and I think one of my favorite retractable roof stadiums so far.

And yep, feel free to re-locate. I think that's some of the beauty of these stadiums - you can re-purpose them anywhere with 20-30 minutes of work in gimp.

Stockton, CA - Banner Island Ballpark

Stockton, like Bridgeport, built a dome/baseball stadium complex in the 90s, but unlike Bridgeport, they still have a baseball team using the facility. I added a bit of mixed-use development surrounding the park, but the overall feel is similar to the original park in Stockton.

The park itself is relatively neutral, but the right field area is deeper than left, so it's death on left handed power hitters - aka the Brandon Belt effect.

Bruce isnt smasjing anything in that park. Love that Marlins Park, reminds me a bit of a park i used for a team in my EBL league for years. I forgot who created a bunch of 2D files. Some really fun parks to play with. Will these new parks work in both 20 & 21?

Colorado Springs, CO - UC Health Field

The field in Colorado Springs is a relatively generic half circle. I added scoreboards like there are at Coors Field. UC Health Field is pretty spacious and at elevation, so it plays pretty hitter friendly.

Tampa, Florida - Ybor City Stadium

This one had been kicking around long enough that the project actually died, but, it turns out being quarantined at home creates space for... creativity, and reflection, and figuring out how to make that stupid roof. So, here we go - the Tampa Bay concept for Ybor City. The park itself is pretty spacious, so it has lots of doubles and triples and not a lot of home runs.

Akron, OH - Canal Park

Akron's Canal Park is built right next to the Ohio and Erie Canal, which contributes a bit to it's odd field shape. The real life stadium has the weird indent in center and large batters eye - I added the triangle stands in center left. The field itself is relatively neutral, but is a net negative for power hitters.

Poughkeepsie, NY - Dutchess Stadium

Poughkeepsie is kind of like McAllen, in that it is the largest of a series of smaller cities that gets credited for being the namesake of the MSA. It's MSA is mostly New York City suburbs, and all of them are 40,000 people or less - so it wasn't really on my radar until I started this project. Dutchess Stadium is another mid-modern half circle, with a statue in center of a fur-trapper and Low's excellent logos and theme. I also made it more pastoral by adding an ivy clad wall. The park is a little pitcher friendly, but the smaller wall distances help boost power numbers

Ogden, UT - Lindquist Field

This one I took a bit of creative liberty with - Lindquist Field has a building in its center field, which creates weird angles. I took it out and made it a bit more of a default styled field. It's relatively neutral, with its size increasing doubles and triples and undercutting home runs. It also has a beautiful mountain view, like Salt Lake City and Boise.
