The Dodgers came into the 9th down by three but eventually John Knight hit an RBI single to give Brooklyn a walk-off, 6-5 win over the Reds to open their Spring schedule.

Bart Sullivan pitched well but it was mostly six walks by Santiago Sanchez that gave the Dodgers a 6-5 win over the Giants.

Jimmy Dygert was not expected to challenge for a rotation spot but today he pitched five scoreless inning sagas the Cubs.

Unfortunately the bullpen did not do as well as the Dodger lost, 5-4.

Wilbur Cooper has allowed only one earned run in 15 innings pitched this Spring. He is certainly trying to earn a spot in the rotation as a rookie!
