One more screenshot. I am sure I am doing something wrong for it to look like that.

Another question, after every sim do you still have to load the SQL files in a particular order like you did before or can you just load them all at once? Also, what post-load functions should you run each time?

You can load them in any order. Just run the season, park factors, etc afterwards.

Trying to run our amateur draft with statslab 12, no issues until now. Have this message on draftboard (Warning: mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/osdkootp/public_html/StatsLab/draftReport.php on line 189) and get the player not draft eligible when manger tries to make the first overall pick? Contacted Fhmoss just on and logged right off

3. Save the draft list.
4. Remove the player from the draft list, and save again.
5. Go to the draft admin page, and click the generate auto draft list button.
6. Try drafting the players manually.
Got doing this

Hi all,

I've been on vacation with only intermittent internet access. Here are some responses.

On the StatsLab Admin screen, under Export Tracker settings, in the League Name field, enter vMLB.tar.gz, and StatsLab will use that extension rather than the old OOTP11 default of .lg.

The ones with "history" in the name are only needed every year. The rest of the ones specified in the read me are needed after every sim.

You need to run everything except for career metrics and player development and similarity scores after every sim. Run all 3 on the last day of the baseball year (before the end of the actual year)
No. Development should be run whenever you want to see that updated. Run Career Position, Park Factors, Season Metrics after every sim. The others are only needed at the end of the year. FWIW, Win Share can be run whenever, but don't really make sense until the season is completed.

StatsLab can't handle player ratings in a scouted league, however there are plenty of features in StatsLab you can still use. You can hide the ratings easily from the StatsLab admin page.

The path to your league HTML is incorrect in your StatsLab admin screen.

You can load the SQL files in any order after initial installation. By default, StatsLab loads them alphabetically.

Does your games.mysql.sql file have a line at the top to DROP the table and then to CREATE the table? If not, check those options in the OOTP12 SQL configuration. They're new to OOTP12.

Honestly, I haven't taken any time to work on it in about 3 weeks, and by "it", I mean StatsLab in general. Given things going on in my real world, I can't really give any sort of ETA at this point.

Okay, I'm probably being dense, but I cannot figure this out.

I followed the directions exactly the same way I did for 11. pre-patch 2 for StatsLab. Everything looks okay visually on the StatsLab site. However, for whatever reason, when I go to set up the first development tables, I am getting time out errors before I can accomplish anything -- even if I limit the request to, say, A league pitching ratings... Related to this, I had far more trouble with time out errors when loading SQL files -- for the first time ever, I had to split them, and they are exactly the same size as they were back in OOTP 11, so this makes no sense to me.

However, I notice documentation for a patch 2 in with the StatsLab directions, and so I am guessing that the patch is where things in StatsLab might be adjusted to OOTP 12. However, I see no patch 2 in the zip file download. Nor do I see a conversion2-2.php file.

So I am stuck. Either I have done the correct installation but time out errors are preventing me from using the development tracker OR there is an important patch that I am not finding.

I'm guessing this will be an easy fi and I entered somethign wrong, but when I go to the exports page for my league, it says

ERROR: No League File Found at: "http://www.mtblcentral.com/league_files/MTBL12.tar.gz"

but that's exactly where the league file is located, if you grab just the url portion, it'll download our league file. any ideas what I did wrong?

Frank,
I know I say this everytime I run a post-season for my solo league, but once again, thank you for StatsLab and the Playoff summary. This used to take me long hours to produce manually and it's time I can enjoy doing things like teasing my brow, cleaning my wife and daughters hair from the sink drains and browsing historical team graphs. Thanks man!

I'm getting the same problem when I run career metrics at the end of the season after installing StatsLab. Career metrics worked perfectly on the initial SQL upload. Any idea how I can fix this?

Love StatsLab!!!

Can anyone who's updated v11 with v12 tell me if it overwrites all of your settings? I'd like to know before I update.

StatsLab V12

Thank you for creating this utility.

It took me a while to get it to work but, I'm set now.

I am getting one error in the draft utility. If anyone can help it would be appreciated!

Warning: mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /hermes/bosweb/web118/b1183/ipg.usfleaguesnet/ootpsl/draftWarroom.php on line 438

Thanks!

Mark,

What I've done is read the instructions, and removed anything that would update settings. (IE config.txt) So far, so good.

But I only did this yesterday with one SQL dump to update my new members to be included. Not sure the next time I do a dump if it'll still work.
