What does use last scouted overall do?
I can't find the option listed in the manual. It seems it would mean to use the latest overall rating from the scout, but if it is set to no, what would it do?

If set to no, then the overall rating gets re-calculated every time you go to a player page/list. Generally speaking, they should be the same, but sometimes there's things that shift outside of a scouting report, so setting to yes should keep things consistent between the scouting page and the main page

I didn't remember seeing this option and just went and checked mine. To my surprise it was set to "no". I would have thought I would have it set to "yes".
As I set it to yes the popup blurb noted being set to yes may not be a good idea if you change the "relative to" level often. I then remembered I had looked at this before and did not set it to yes because I do use the "relative to" choice often when I go through my minors. So it remains set to "no" for me. "relative to " is very handy to use on the team minor league page to check ratings per level to help in the decision making process. |
