Those are pretty cool. Are they just maps, or is there an associated league? I wish more people would share leagues like this as quickstarts. It would be fun to get into something like that.

Just graphics at this point. Have not made leagues to go along with.

Another random map I thought of today while bored in my room: Pirates and baseball

I have always loved pirates. The idea of being a pirate, sailing, wearing cool hats, getting loot and fighting the kraken! Inspiration struck me when I saw Low's Annapolis Corsairs logo he did on his thread the other day. I found a fun pirate cove name generator on a site I use often for other naming projects as well. All logos are Low's work and my addition of the circular border from JustaFans logo maker.

Hey,

a few things before I try my hand at this.

1st: Why don't you try your hand at this map yourself, either hand drawn with cleaner lines or digitally on a free program like Gimp. You might be surprised how much better artistic ability changes with a new medium. Try searching for large blank maps of US, CAN, MEX and CUB, lots of go

2nd: If you really want me to delve into this, I will require a cleaner map than what is provided. I can see the basic shape of America but everything else is confusing geographically. I don't know how accurate you want this. Is America still divided into its original 50 states or are extra states or regions been added to accommodate EBL cities? Send multiple pictures if required for higher quality recreation.

I'm not trying to be a stickler or hassle you for the sake of it, I just need a little more direction. Message me if you have anymore ideas. I'll be around.

So ya, made the mistake of revisiting this project. Of course since the game has added regions and tournaments and other cool stuff I decided I needed more countries. Going from 8 to 19.

That means creating a theme for each one which equals city names, states, population totals, last names, first names, ethnicity ratios etc. The worst part is Latitudes and Longitudes which I have to completely redo because the last way I did won't work now.

This is what I came up with as a guide...

Wow, looking nice man. Lots of cities there. This is all for a league you are making or just a pet project?

Just for a league I'm making. Starting with an old league/mod I had done, expanding it and learning from the mistakes from last time. With this one I can toggle all the cities on and off so only cities with teams will be visible on the map.

The rest of the cities are plotted for latitude and longitude and smaller cities and towns will just have rough coordinates in the database.

In the end I'll have a complete world database, player names, country flags and even weather. Probably turn it into a quickstart.
