as a gm

when playing as a gm and you are simulating games, how much do you sim at a time? like one week? then as a gim do you just wait till an injury happens, mybe propose a trade? is that all we should be doing as a gm? or am i missing the big picture here? I also look at the minors from time to time, it just seems as a gm i should be doing more but im just not sure what exactly ya know? also when my team is losing consistently what can i do to change that?

I like to sim day by day. I like to check on the waiver wire (daily) and trade block and free agency (maybe once a week?)
Then I review my MiLB rosters once a month or so.
If MiLB injuries occur and the roster needs help, I will sign a MiLB free agent.
