Player Just Purchased at Auction is Now Locked on My Roster

I purchased a Xander Bogaerts card for cheap in an auction and when I tried to put it back up for auction I received an error message stating that the card could not be put up for auction because I exceeded the maximum limit of 50 auctions. I had no other auctions at the time. I was able to place another card up for auction and still couldn't sell the Bogaerts card. I restart OOTP and now I can't even try to sell the card. It is listed as "locked" as if I used it in a collections mission. Has anyone seen a similar issue before?
