Once the game is over?

Brand new to OOTP. I just watched a tutorial of an actual game being played. What the tutorial didn't show was once the games completed, do I have to click on a button to save the game? If not, how do I escape the actual game screen knowing the game is saved. Thanks for your help in advance.

Just save it from the File > Save Game. Click on leave game I believe then save the game.

You can save it manually. Other than I believe it saves automatically when you exit.
