Is it Early Release Tuesday Yet?
Is it early-release Tuesday yet? Can't wait and seem to have a lot of down time in the house and no sports on TV. Maybe it will finally be time for me to do a Mariner franchise game from expansion to current day.

If I do worse than the real Mariner's have, then I should not be allowed to do anything related to baseball again.

is there a time ETA on the release? midnight EST tuesday? midnight in EUROPE tuesday? . any idea? not that im pacing or taking 1 naps a day to make time go by quicker or anything....

Don't quote me on this, but in previous years i believe it's been around noon EST. I'd expect it around the same time. Typically OOTP makes a stickied post the day before or morning of with more information so keep an eye out for that.

To piggyback off this, they don’t typically announce a time ahead of time because the servers would die a slow, painful death.

Does early release mean I can start a dynasty? Or will there be some sort of non-beta version that will over-write my files?

You can start a file if you wish. The “release” version won’t overwrite any saved game data (or created logos, etc).

If you are going to start a dynasty, I would wait till the official release. It is only a few days, but you may as well have the most up-to-date version for the long-haul.

That said, the updates that follow are always compatible with your save; the only thing that may change, where you would need to start-over, are things like changes to the opening day roster and the draft class.

Right, and what slugga27 said is true if you just want to start right away.
