Can someone post a screen shot of the in-game screen?

I haven't bought the game yet and planned to wait until closer to SEP while I finish up my OOTP 13 game in preparation for 14's release (I don't import saves and start over each year, but I digress).

Anyway, I plan to play out all my games like I do in OOTP so would appreciate any screenshots (and comments for that matter) of how that works in FHM.

Thanks.

Posting screens right now wouldn't be overly useful because they are redoing the in game screen if I remember correctly so it'll be vastly different in a few weeks thank it is right now but I will post some when I get in game and show you anyways

Game Screen

I like that look. I like how the players are displayed too. Anyone know what happens on the rink? Taking up that much space, there must be some sort of activity. Also, what are the game segments? Does it describe zone to zone puck movement or is it updated every 10, 20 or 30 seconds of game time?

Thank you,
Jeff

And that is precisely why they are redesigning the in-game screen Right now it shows a little flag icon indicating where each shot was taken from. Not really as important as you'd think considering how prominent it is in the screen layout. The checkboxes next to the rink toggle on/off the shots from each period.

and the timing?

How detailed is the play by play? Again, what are the time segments? I would love to see one more screen image of play by play as well as an understanding of the time segments.

Play by play is very limited right now as that is something that gets worked on all the time. Will probably grow with each update

Just downloaded the game today and was wondering if there is going to be any updates/additions to the 'on-ice graphics'? As a complete addict to EHM, I can see where this game has potential. But I will miss the little dots, er players, moving around the ice!

As far as I know there is no chance there is going to be a 2d engine like in ehm.

It's too bad but I certainly understand it

I just bought the game and downloaded it.. I couldnt figure out how to go into a game to play so I figured it wasnt ready yet to do that, but from this post and screen shot above I see that it is.. I'm doing a regular NHL league, how do I go into a individual game to play? Under Scores/Schedules I didnt see anything to click on like "play now" or anything.. Am I missing it somewhere???
Thanks ahead of time!!

Agreed, game is fun even in the beta state but there is no set timetable for the releases. Just wait and keep watching and they pop up

On the same day of the game you should have a "Play game vs XXX" in your sim button...

Thanks for your help! I don't see a Sim button thing but I guess I have to be controlling a team?? I'm doing "commissioner only" mode where
im not controlling any team, so maybe thats why I dont see it? I was wanting to watch a game between computer teams (I like doing that for baseball version when im commissioner) but maybe they havent implemented that into this game yet??? If not I hope that is still a plan!

Never or just not for the first release? I've never played ootp before so don't know how sophisticated their in-game screen is in that.
