So, the Cub's and Cin were tied going into September it was a long battle but I beat them out.

I then see the heartbreaking news that Cin has lost the playoff berth this year how sad:/

Then to my amazement they are in the playoffs the next day... haha

If it could only get any worse, I then go up 3-0 in the LCS to then lose it 4-3 and they then almost win the W/S! Ughhhhhh

Btw, Minnesota win's their first Title....

After 163 games, the standings were NYM 87-76, ARI 86-77, and CIN 86-77, so the news story thought CIN was out, but CIN still had a game to play against NYM, so they weren't actually out.

I had this happen in my sim when there was a 3-way tie for a wild card. The team that got the bye also got the email after the first game was played about missing the playoffs even though they still had a shot if they won the game against the winner of the first game. Its a weird spot because 3-way playoffs are pretty rare.
