Comcast Field

Overlooked this one because I did it in response to another thread.

Oakland Ballpark

This is one that I apparently finished months ago and just forgot to release! It's another 3D Warehouse conversion of a concept ballpark for the Oakland Athletics. The original model by DFDub1988 can be found here:

https://3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/mod...-Ballpark-Idea

My version can be found here:

Amazing work! I would like to just post this link if you hadn't seen it in case you're looking for inspiration - there are a bunch of minor league ballparks on 3D warehouse as well: http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...d.php?t=290938

Eriqjaffe, Thank you for your work. I am using most if not all of your stadiums in my game.

Might I suggest a conversion?

https://3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/mod.../Baseball-Dome

Additionally, I would love to see a Camden Yards redesign. You came very close with the CBi conversion. I envision something still incorporating the warehouse beyond the outfield wall somewhere, or with seating added as in CBi. I'm about 50 years in the future in my Orioles save. I see Camden being like Fenway or Wrigley and still being around, but I would love to see a retractable roof design, or something to freshen up my game.

Thank you for the work you've already done, and I look forward to seeing what else you can do!

Some of your newer batch you mention the cities they are deisgned for (ie the Oakland one). But others it is not listed. Would you mind writing out a little list of which city you had in mind (or specifically used the skyline of) for each of the newer stadiums here? I'm trying to match cities accurately in my fictional league wherever possible with these. Thanks.

Lord's Cricket Ground: London
HP Ballpark: San Jose
CBi Park: Charlotte

Man, that is a mighty big right field. What're the dimensions on that thing?

A real stadium? A real stadium!

BB&T Ballpark, home of the Winston-Salem Dash

There is no specific reason why I picked this park, in case you were wondering. The original model by Luke Potenza can be found here:

And my version can be found here:

Back to fictional parks for now, with Estadio Baudilio Diaz

The original model by Grand Jota can be found here:

https://3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/mod...-Baudilio-Diaz

The park is named after Baudilio Diaz, better known to American fans as Bo Diaz, who was inducted into the Venezuelan Baseball Hall of Fame in 2006, played for the Leones del Caracas in the Venezuelan Winter League every year from 1972 until his untimely death in 1990. An interesting fact about Diaz, which I'm just going to crib directly from Wikipedia:

Quote:
Díaz was part of an extremely unlikely event spanning thirteen years. On January 6, 1973, he caught for minor league pitcher Urbano Lugo, who threw a no-hitter as the Leones del Caracas defeated the Tiburones de La Guaira, 6–0. Thirteen years later, on January 24, 1986, Díaz was the catcher for another no-hitter in a 4–0 Caracas' victory over La Guaira. This time, the pitcher was major leaguer Urbano Lugo, Jr., son of the elder Lugo.
My version, which I've located in Caracas, Venezuela (as did the original modeler), can be found here:

https://www.mediafire.com/file/8yjk1..._Diaz.zip/file
