HW package with records
Hello, Does anyone know how I go about having a HW division with lots of current HWs and the most current records? I want to play around with the HW division without having all records starting from scratch with 0-0. Is there a way to go about this other than the way I did before by updating each fighters record individually and slowly adding missing fighters? That took me a while and I lost it in the end. Any help would be great. Thanks!

I don't think there is any other way. If you go at it again make sure you back-up the db this time. I don't think anyone else has ever done a real record db, it'd be cool if someone put that together though

top 25
Here is the top 25 Heavyweights. I'll try to get the second group 26-50 out later tonight. I also have some fringe guys posted at: http://www.palookaville.org/Boxerfiles.html
After I create the files, I'll send them to corner work. MJ

good work Ice, it'd be cool to have a real records db with all the currently active fighters in the game, but I know I don't want to deal with it.

How do you update a fighters' record? You mean I could go through and put in each fighters actual record for that time and not start at 0-0?

I doubt if that is even possible.

It takes an absolute lifetime to do! What I do when I start a universe is just edit in the career stats of boxers as and when I first use them in that universe. So if it was Toney vs Valuev, I'd just put both their records in and take it from there. A lot better and less repetitive than going through all the fighters painstakingly editing records.

Okay how about a project??? with my new job I don't have as much time so let's say a target date of May 10th. I will tranfer all the MW to a new database and I will put the records in of every active MW I have in the db. If I feel like creating one I will but if I don't I will substitute a TC. The pp will be up to the person using the db for a universe.
Any other takers? |
