Improvements since 2016

Hey all.. I'm new to this forum.. I used to play OOTP on my phone back i 2016.. I was determined to managed the Cubs to the World Series before they actually made it there.

Somewhere along the way, (I think I destroyed my prior phone that had the game) I got away from the game. I loved the game back in 2016 but had trouble with trades and a few other "realism" issues.

So, my question is has the game shown a lot of improvement over the recent years? I'm thinking about jumping in again. I must have Spring Fever

Most likely too numerous to mention. Its top sim sports game of its kind even across all possible sports.
